Danielle Kotara is a Graduate Research Assistant and doctorate student in the department of Teaching, Learning, and Culture with specialization in Mathematics Education. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Mathematics and Science for Middle Grades. Danielle participated in the Texas A&M University, College of Education's Summer Math Clinic, which sought to provide individualized instruction in order to accelerate students' mathematics skills, while assessing their abilities and progress. Kotara's research interests include problem based learning.
